DMR MARC network to be taken offline permanently in Germany

I regret the fact, that the DMR MARC network in Germany will be taken offline permanently on July 31st, 2017 according to the official website (german):trust.

At this point time, we don't know about the availability of a permanent or temporary solution during the net (Saturdays 1600–1730 UTC DST / 1700–1830 UTC) for the access to WW 1 on DMR-MARC via crosslinks from other networks.

DMR MARC net — network connectivity issues on 3rd June, 2017

The DMR MARC Worldwide net on 3rd June, 2017 was affected by a temporary network connectivity issue between Europe an other parts of the world (especially North America, Australia and New Zealand). This is why, net control could only take check-ins from Europe. We've got a total  of 24 check-ins from England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Denmark, Germany, France, Austria and Malta.
Network administrator has been informed about this issue.
Hopefully we'll be able to have a truly worldwide net without network connectivity issues next Saturday.

DMR Plus North America - DMR-MARC and DMR Plus partnership

DMR Plus is the original network that developed tools to interconnect Hytera and Motorola repeaters. It has been popular in Europe for years but now, with the cooperation of DMR-MARC, it has finally arrived in North America and the South Pacific. The DMR Plus architecture is similar to D-Star. Users have talkgroups to converse, to disconnect, and to monitor channel status. Users choose from a large pool of reflectors and move back to the converse talkgroup for all QSOs.

The DMR-MARC and DMR Plus partnership is ideal. The DMR-MARC network is robust and reliable. The DMR Plus network is more aligned with experimentation and interoperability of technologies. Think of DMR Plus as the best possible implementation of the former DMR-MARC Sandbox.

Dear DMR-MARC users,
As a follow-up to our announcement in August 2016 regarding our partnership with the DMRPlus network, we have some more exciting news to share with you regarding our collaboration with the DMRPlus team. Firstly, our testing of the new DMRPlus interconnection talkgroups, which include DMR+ USA (TG133), DMR+ UK (TG143) and DMR+ South Pacific (TG153) has been very successful and we have decided to roll these talkgroups out to all repeaters connected to our network. We have also added DMR+ Quebec - French (TG131), and DMR+ Latin America - Spanish (TG134). This will allow any device connected to the DMRPlus network, including commercial Motorola or Hytera repeaters, homebrew MMDVM repeaters or base stations, the upcoming DV4mobile and DV4mini users worldwide to access users on either the DMRPlus or DMR-MARC networks. The rollout has already started and will be completed over the next few weeks.

The DMR-MARC Worldwide Net is held weekly Saturday on the DMR-MARC network to test the connectivity and linking of repeaters world wide under stressed volumes.  It is intended as a global forum for discussing news, information and developments related to Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) DMR-MARC (Motorola Amateur Radio Club). This net is open to all ham radio operators with a DMR capable radio and can be accessed via any DMR repeaters that are connected to the DMR-MARC Worldwide talk group (TB#1).
